NOT EVERYTHING YOU’RE GOOD AT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR TIME ON

That was one of the ideas I talked about recently on the Wantrepreneur to Entrepreneur podcast (https://www.thewantrepreneurshow.com/sheri-roder/). Because it’s very possible to be good at something — even really good at it — and still feel like it’s no longer where you want to focus your energy.

➡️That happened to me.

At a certain point, I realized I didn’t want to spend my time only on the things I knew how to do well. I wanted to spend it on the things that felt meaningful 𝘢𝘯𝘥 made me happy. The work was figuring out the intersection between:

🔹What am I good at?

🔹What do I care about?

🔹Where do I derive pleasure?

🔹Where can I actually help?

That’s how I arrived at 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗤™.

Helping people make that same kind of sense of themselves — not by throwing everything out, but by looking honestly at what still fits, what no longer does, what makes you happy and then, what’s possible.

Sometimes getting unstuck starts with a deceptively hard question: Is this something I want to keep doing because I’m good at it — or because it still feels like the right place to put my time, energy, and attention?
