FEAR = FALSE

One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck? Fear.

🔹 Fear of the unknown.

🔹 Fear of what’s next.

🔹 Fear of making the wrong move.

🔹 Or even the right one.

Glassdoor’s 2025 report shows employee confidence at a record low—and mentions of “uncertainty” are up 80%. It’s no surprise that people are defaulting to safety. When the future feels unstable, fear turns potential risks into imagined certainties.We all feel fear—we’re human. But a smart man once reframed it for me:False Expectations Appearing Real. (Thank you, Dr. Bart Sayle.)

For me, fear often shows up as over-anticipating—imagining every outcome so I’ll be “ready.” But really, it’s about trying to control the unpredictable by fooling myself that I've at least thought through most of the angles. And when I’m busy bracing for every future? I’m not actually moving. I’m just circling. (aka, Spinning.)

You’ll never be free from fear. But by accepting uncertainty—and focusing on what you can control—you can quiet the noise just enough to take the first step. Getting unstuck doesn’t mean being fearless. It means seeing fear for what it is…and moving anyway. Even a small step forward can start to break the cycle.If this resonates, you’re not alone.I help people move through fear, get unstuck, and stop letting false expectations drive the story.
